MARCHING BAND
The La Quinta Marching Aztecs are one of the most well known schools in all of Southern California, for their award-winning performances. They perform district-wide as well as California wide, sharing their visual production all over. This program brings together students who have a passion in music, showing their talents outside a school community, and connecting others with the same passion.
Students get the opportunity to perform at school-wide football games, school assemblies, CSBC Championships, and participate in WBA. These events are unforgettable experiences, letting students showcase and compete with the teamwork and leadership skills they build within the program.

BAND CAMP
Band Camp is required for all members looking to join the next fall season. Band camp is two weeks long with hours of instruction everyday, letting them learn teamwork and leadership skills, building life long memories.
Members must show up with proper athletic attire and plenty of water. All students must bring all the necessary things and show up on time!

STUDENT DONATIONS
Each member is expected to turn in a set amount of fees every season. Fees will be told at the beginning of the season. These fees are crucial to paying our shows(props, uniforms, competitions, etc.) This donation can be split up in multiple payments or done all at once.
All payments should be turned into our treasurer OR parent board(ABC). For any comments and concern let the band director, Mr Lam know at klam@ggusd.net.
AUDITIONING
All instrumental students that choose to be in marching band will be required to automatically be a part of concert band(excluding color guard). Determining who will be on which instrument is decided during clinics or summer camps. This is required to ensure balance within the program.
Those who commit to marching band are expected to be stay in their section throughout the year. All members must be a part of our percussion/guard or winds periods in their class schedules.
